Brig (Retd) Mian Muhammad Mahmud

At the twilight of my years, I am deeply saddened to witness an unprecedented and unfortunate turmoil in Pakistan that warrants an immediate awakening at national level to bounce back and resume our journey to a happy and prosperous society based on shared history, proximity, performance and shared vision. Struggle and sacrifices of our founding fathers and martyrs from Armed Forces Of Pakistan and all walks of life cannot be allowed to go in vain, under any circumstances. Veterans of Pakistan remain steadfast in continuing our unflinching support to achieve our core objective. Side by side, rehabilitation and welfare of veterans of all ranks remains a sacred duty that we must continue to perform to the best of our ability. May Allah kareem guide and protect us. Pakistan Zindabad.

Lt Gen (Retd) Ali Kuli Khan

I wish and pray for all success to the Veterans of Pakistan (VOP) in its endeavors. Since its inception VOP has been instrumental in countering the challenges and threats facing Pakistan, its Armed Forces and the people of Pakistan. VOP has also rendered outstanding services and done enviable social work all over the country during Pakistan’s natural disasters and emergencies since 2004. I pray for the continued success of VOP in its future endeavors in the service of Pakistan.

Vice Admiral (Retd) Ahmad Tasnim HI(M) SJ & Bar, SI(M) SBt

Transiting from PESA to Veterans of Pakistan has been a memorable, challenging and arduous experience. We pay homage to late Admiral Fasih Bokhari, our first President who with his affable nature kept us together while granting every member full freedom and opportunity to genuinely participate in accomplishing our goals, ably assisted and supported by Brig Mian Mahmood, Air Chief Marshal Kaleem Sadaat & other notables. VOP did a commendable job in some areas including former FATA, towards provision of potable water and allied facilities including rations & house hold goods in times of crises. We remain determined to continue looking after genuine interests of retired personnel and families of our martyrs, through employing all available means. May Allah kareem guide us and grant due strength in achieving our aims including upholding and guarding supremacy of constitution of Pakistan.

Air Commodore (Retd) Syed Sajjad Haider

Sovereignty is a precious thing, but only those born in the 1930s, who witnessed Pakistan emerge as a proud nation but also saw it wither away into oblivion soon after the father of the nation died, will mourn for what they lost and know what is at stake. Today’s youth deserved a better Pakistan. Sadly, our generation stumbled and failed to ensure it. Going forward, the power to change lies with the young generation. Only through stoking the fire in their heart can they show power and demand their dignity and sovereignty back in a mighty blitzkrieg.
